Marriage Certificate

This is a picture of our wedding certificate. It is Japanesse. Bob and I got married in Okinawa, Japan. I can not even read it, all I know is our names and the date are in there somewhere. It is pretty to have in a frame though. I just wish I had an official translation for it.

Finished Project

This started with my sons loft bed and problem of he did not want to sleep up at the top anymore but with it getting colder I could not have him sleeping on the floor. So we started this project to make it possible for him to sleep under the bed but not on the floor. And then we took the top or should I say my husband carpeted the top and made it a game area so Michael can play his gamecube up there. It is really nice. Know onto the next project which will be a dresser, desk and shelving unit on the other side of Michaels room.

Menopause

This is actually not going to be a serious blog about menopause. But something my husband pointed out while in the book store last night. There was this Menopause for Dummies book. And he said if you break the word down it says "men" "o" "pause" Basically like the word is saying Men Stop. And alot of times during menopause and I speak from experience when the husband is getting on your nerves you really want to say you better stop that and alot of times you do. So Men O Pause.

Ready for Fall and some redecorating pics.

This is the new look for the dining room, we took down the blinds and put shears and curtains up instead. This is them open.
This is the curtains in the dining room closed. It allows a whole lot more privacy than the blinds used to.
These are the new blinds in the living room.. We used to have the normal white blinds up, but our two cats ended up breaking them, and so we got these ones I think they look a whole lot better.
This is the blinds closed in the living room.
We just got the table cloth and the center pieces, all ready for fall.
This is the close up of the center pieces. I am going to take more pictures as things change in the apartment.

When You Think You Can Not Handle It

Wow, I know the title can be anything. But here it is when things seem like you can not get any control over them. When they snowball so much you can not keep up. Well I am speaking from experience.

Lately things have been piling up so high that I am not able to climb to the top of it.
Until the beginning of this past week, I have realized I have been trying to do it alone. That is not the answer, the answer is to get God involved. Let Him know what is going on. Even though He already knows what is going on. Let Him know that you need him to be there to help you.

It does not matter what it is, it will all work out. Pray and believe and anything can get put back to rights. May God Bless You All.
